Alexander Zesati, LMFT

I am committed to offering a psychotherapy process that includes body, mind and spirit. Let’s explore what is getting in the way of a more satisfying relationship or a deeper engagement with your career/purpose. Maybe you want to be able to grieve a loss or be free from a traumatic experience that still impacts your day to day. Maybe you want to go beyond the habits that keep you bound within a limited version of yourself.

The invitation is to create a safe field for exploring what is most alive in you, the places inside that scare you, that you avoid, that feel limiting or foreign. Whether it is intense suffering or a subtle dissatisfaction, I invite you to see our sessions as a platform in support of your unfoldment. My role is to offer support and establish a foundation of safety, while challenging you to move out of the comfortably known into what is awaiting to happen within you.

I see psychotherapy as a sacred encounter where you meet yourself for the first time, again and again.  A space that helps you to recognize and remember the sound of your true voice. My vow is to tread with you into the unknown and vulnerable territory of your experience, with gentleness, curiosity, compassion, fearlessness and a sense of humor.

“Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It's a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.”
